SW1143 - Surface Mounted Scupper with 17 Degree Wedge

Sale Price:$39.99 Original Price:$49.99

SW1143 is a direct replacement scupper for most boats that currently have the standard round plastic frame scupper with a rubber flapper. SW1143 features a free swinging rigid door (“flapper”) and hidden silicone seal allows for faster drainage and better one way valve performance compared to the traditional scupper.

This scupper assembly is TIG welded together by Seaworthy Innovations at our Westborough, MA facility. The 17 degree wedge allows the scupper to “rest” in a closed position as most transoms are angled 10-15 degrees. All metal components including fasteners are marine grade 316 stainless steel.

It has a 1.625” thru hole which is larger than the common plastic frame version which has a 1.375” thru hole. This means ours will fit over most brass drain tubes of transoms which typically have a 1.5” flare.

The wedge can be screwed directly to the transom or to a plastic thru-hull fitting. The scupper component is then attached to the wedge with 3M VHB adhesive for a sleek look without any visible screws
